WHY IS IT NEEDED
AS IT RESONATES FROM INDUSTRY

The pressure, the tension is increasing. We need more guidance to deal with this tension and responsibility.

It seems to me that you have to deal with everything on your own.

We don’t listen to each other anymore.

What’s missing there in many places is a calming element.

I cannot change society, but I can try to change something in our company.

It is about community, mutual understanding, help, a sense of we.

We need to prepare our employees for future crises in a completely different way. Things then have give a nudge, but not knock people down.

Generative communication that connects everyone no longer takes place. Everybody retreats to his or her own position, and then defends it.

We will only get different answers if we start to ask different questions.

I think many people are just lost. So was I sometimes. I would have needed a peer or someone to take me by the hand every once in a while.

It is so disappointing. We have provided all the training on personal development, but after three days it seems that it is all gone.

The glass industry is ready for change. But we have to work together.

Making the world a better home.

ROOTED IN A VARIETY
OF WELL-ESTABLISHED FRAMEWORKS

THEORY
U

Theory U is an awareness-based method for changing systems which blends systems thinking, innovation, and leading change–from the viewpoint of an evolving human consciousness.

Drawing on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) tradition of action research and learning by doing, Theory U has evolved over two decades of experimentation and refinement by a global community of practitioners.

Theory U draws our attention to the invisible source dimension of the social field, to the quality of relationships that we have to each other, to the system, and to ourselves.

DESIGN
THINKING

Design thinking is a user-centered problem-solving approach that fosters innovation. It involves defining the problem, generating ideas, prototyping, and testing solutions.

The process begins by understanding users’ needs and perspectives, followed by framing a clear problem statement. Ideas are then generated, and prototypes are created for testing and feedback.

The iterative nature of design thinking allows for refining solutions based on user insights. Collaboration and creative thinking are key principles.

CONSCIOUS BUS. AGILITY

Conscious Business Agility is the ability of an organization to be more responsive to change, adaptable to new circumstances, and innovative in their approaches to problem-solving.

It is a journey, not a destination, and it requires a commitment to continuous learning and improvement of the whole organization to embrace agility consciously, from strategy to execution, and enterprise-wide.

The benefits of becoming a more conscious and agile business can be significant, with the overall goal of creating a more sustainable and equitable future.

TRANSFORMATIVE MEDIATION

Transformative Mediation is a unique approach to conflict intervention which describes a conflict as a crisis in human interaction, which tends to destabilize the parties’ experience of both self and other so that the parties interact in ways that are both more vulnerable and more self-absorbed than they did before the conflict.

If unaware, these negative dynamics often feed into each other in a vicious circle that intensifies each party’s sense of weakness and self-absorption.

For most people, according to transformative theory, being caught in this kind of destructive interaction is the most significant negative impact of conflict.

GENERATIVE COACHING

Generative coaching facilitates personal and professional growth by tapping into inner resources. It goes beyond problem-solving and focuses on transformation. Based on positive psychology, it explores untapped potential.

The coach helps uncover patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop empowering narratives. Techniques like powerful questioning and visualization aid in generating insights. Empowerment, possibility thinking, and a holistic approach are key aspects.

Generative coaching fosters transformative shifts in thinking and behavior. It is used in executive coaching and personal growth contexts.

MINDFULNESS
PRACTICES

Mindfulness is the practice of being present with open curiosity and non-judgment. It involves actively focusing on thoughts, feelings, sensations, and the environment. Originating from Buddhist traditions, mindfulness is now popular as a secular practice for mental well-being.

Techniques like meditation and breathing exercises develop awareness skills. Benefits include stress reduction, emotional well-being, improved focus, self-awareness, and better relationships.

Mindfulness requires practice and isn’t about emptying the mind but accepting experiences. Structured programs or guidance from teachers can aid in learning mindfulness.
